COMPETITION BYELAWS (2018 REVISION)

SPEECH & DRAMA (OPEN) SECTION

This must be read in conjunction with the

GENERAL COMPETITION BYELAWS [2016] of Newry Musical Feis
 

1. All entries are completed online; entries can be accepted only from recognised teachers of Speech & Drama;
    
2. A performer must not be substituted by another in any competition;
    
3. A competitor must not perform the same piece in more than one class;
    
4. Competitors must not perform the same piece in two consecutive years;
    
5. In both solo and group work competitors must take part only within their own age groupings;
    
6. In scenes for 2, 3 or 4 an entrant may perform more than once providing that a different part is being performed;
    
7. Competitors must not perform in any class other than those in which they have been entered on the online entry system;
    
8. The decision of the Committee shall be final in all matters.
