COMPETITION BYELAWS (2018 REVISION)

SPEECH & DRAMA (SCHOOLS) SECTION

This must be read in conjunction with the

GENERAL COMPETITION BYELAWS [2016] of Newry Musical Feis
 

1. All entries are completed online; entries can be accepted only from a staff member of the school attended by the performer.
    
2. Absolutely no late entries will be accepted.
    
3. A performer must not be substituted by another in any competition;
    
4. A competitor must not perform in any class other than that in which s/he has been entered on the online entry system;
    
5. No child receiving private speech and/or drama lessons may enter the Schools Section.  Children who have attended private speech and/or drama lessons in the past must have ceased those lessons at least SIX MONTHS before entering the Speech & Drama (Schools) Section.
    
6. The decision of the Committee shall be final in all matters.
